Campsite Rules

All persons entering the facility are admitted only subject to the following Ground Rules –

  1. The Campsite will be open from 2pm on 6th August 2023, and will close at 12pm (noon) on August 15th 2023. Should you need to arrive earlier please contact the organisers.
  2. There will be 24hrs Stewards and assistance available if required.
  3. Drinking water points will be provided.
  4. Token operated hot showers (pay per use).
  5. No trading or selling of any kind is allowed in the campsite.
  6. Only cars, small car vans and motorbikes will be permitted to park in the Car Park.
  7. Large vans will need to purchase a campervan ticket. No camping will be permitted in the Car Park in cars or on the grass.
  8. The use of amplified music is not permitted in the Campsite. Please respect the local community and keep noise to a minimum.
  9. No animals, other than guide or hearing dogs, are permitted on site.
  10. By accepting these T&C’s, you give your express consent to your, and/or guests and minors, actual/simulated likeness to be included for no fee within any audio or visual recording to be used in any media for any purpose at any time. This includes filming by An Garda Síochána or security staff which may be carried out for the security of attendees and/or the prevention of crime. Please contact us prior to arrival should this be an issue.
  11. Caravan/Campervan vehicles will receive an identification tag for vehicle on arrival, and wristbands will be provided for each pre-registered attendee.
  12. Campervans and Caravans once parked must remain in situ. Vehicles towing Caravans must park in the designated car park.
  13. Caravans/Campervan must be road worthy and of a standard to comply with current legislation.
  14. Trailer tents will be permitted, but these attendees must purchase a Caravan/Campervan pass.
  15. Electrical connection points will be provided in the Caravan/Campervan areas. None will be available in the Tent area. Use may be restricted during the hours of 01:00-06:00am.
  16. Camping Passes are non-refundable and, as such, should you not stay the duration of your purchase, refunds will not be entertained.
  17. Camping Passes can be purchased by over 18s only.
  18. Food and Drink will be available for purchase at the campsite.
  19. Children aged 18 years and under must be accompanied at all times by an adult, limited to a maximum of two children per adult.
  20. Passes are non-transferable. Should you wish to change attendees’ names post purchase, please contact organisers prior to event.
  21. Tickets must be valid and presented in full. You are responsible for your ticket prior to entering the event.
  22. Organisers will not issue duplicate tickets for lost or stolen tickets or passes
  23. Your person and/or bag may be searched at the entrances, on the site or when leaving, by a steward or a Garda. Any person who refuses to be searched by a steward or other person acting on the behalf of the organiser will be refused admission or ejected from site.
  24. Any item(s), reasonably considered for use as a weapon, which may cause danger, offence or disruption to any other person, will be confiscated.
  25. Any person carrying illegal items or carrying out illegal activity will be reported to the An Garda Síochána and refused entry.
  26. The organiser reserves the right to evict a customer and/or refuse admission, without a refund
  27. Anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will lead to eviction. Please act responsibly.
  28. This is a working equestrian facility and the organisers request that you respect the land on site and use pre-determined walkways. Attendees must remain within the site confines and keep away from any areas where there are farm animals
  29. Please keep all signed emergency routes/exits free and unobstructed. Please comply with stewards if asked to reposition your Caravan/Campervan/Tent. We thank you in advance for your co-operation.
  30. The use of drones or similar equipment for any reason is strictly forbidden onsite without written permission from the organiser.
  31. Please be advised to bring appropriate clothing and footwear. This is a greenfield site and as such has an outdoor element open to inclement weather.
  32. The organiser is unable to accept any liability for personal or property damages, losses (including confiscations) or injuries sustained at this event – other than caused as a result of our negligence. Any personal property brought to the event is at your own risk.
  33. Prosecution may occur if you cause damage to the campsite venue, the campsite infrastructure, or cause harm to any other person at the campsite.
  34. Sustainability is a key factor of Fleadh Cheoil 2023
  35. There will be general waste bins and recycling points provided on site. We encourage you to segregate waste as instructed.
  36. Waste bags will also be available at the desk should you wish to have one beside your site for the duration. Please ensure these are brought to the main waste hub in the Campsite when full.
  37. Fires are not permitted anywhere onsite (with the exception of disposable BBQs in the Designated area).
  38. Anyone involved with starting a fire will be evicted from site.
  39. Smoking, including electronic cigarettes, is not permitted in the enclosed spaces, Campsite, Clubhouse and bar.
  40. The use of disposable BBQ’s and cooking stoves are only permitted in designated BBQ areas. Gas BBQ’s are not permitted. There will be a designated area ‘BBQ picnic area’ where disposable BBQs can be used.
  41. Glass, drones, megaphones, smoke or gas canisters, aerosols over 250ml, air horns, fireworks, flares, legal highs, illegal substances/drugs, laser equipment/pens, nitrous oxide, floating lanterns, spray cans, high viz clothing are not permitted on the camp site.
  42. Generators, with the exception of those fixed in campervans (must be Diesel powered only), are not permitted on the camp site.
  43. Excessive amounts of food, cigarettes and alcohol are not permitted on the camp site. Only bring enough required for personal consumption.
  44. Under 18’s are not permitted to bring alcohol on site or to purchase alcohol at the campsite.
  45. Please note It is illegal for an over 18 to purchase alcohol on the behalf of under 18s.
  46. Unauthorised professional photography or use of professional recording equipment is prohibited, and zoom lenses, audio visual or cinematographic devices will not be permitted on site.
  47. The climbing of walls, fences, statues, staging or other structures in the camping area is forbidden.
  48. All patrons must familiarise themselves with the emergency exits and pay due attention to the safety announcements made regularly.
  49. In the event of an emergency, the patrons must leave the area of the emergency and proceed in a calm and orderly fashion to the assembly point in the Car Park.

The following items are prohihited on the campsite –

  • Fireworks, Chinese Lanterns, flares and high-power torches
  • Alcohol
  • Illicit drugs, legal highs or nitrous oxide
  • Glass (except for small make-up items and perfume/aftershave).
  • Animals (except guide dogs)
  • Anything which could be considered an offensive weapon
  • Petrol Generators or Liquefied Petroleum Gas
  • Gazebos
  • Flag Poles
  • Laser Pens
  • Drones
  • Umbrellas
  • Spray canisters and Smoke Bombs
  • Megaphones/air horns
  • Items for trading
  • Bicycles
  • Candles or campfires
  • Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) and any associated equipment (balloons, Co2 dispensers, cream dispensers etc.)
  • Sound systems
  • Water Balloons
